This course focuses on specific skills as it relates to feeding an individuals. Topics that will be covered are nutrition, hydration, and therapeutic diets needed by some. Participants will learn resident’s right and communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with residents. This class also focuses on safety and emergency procedures, infection control and sanitation, and appropriate responses to resident’s behaviors.

This course teaches how being resilient helps you to become a great teacher. Educators will learn how to build a sense of community within the classroom and how to build better relationships.

This course offers the understanding of how team building activities promote cognitive thinking. It also offers the opportunity to understand and to become aware of individual differences
