DESCRIPTION:Are you looking for a part-time job with flexibility? \nFremont County school districts NEED substitute teachers! \nFremont County BOCES will be offering a certification class on the following dates: \nDates:\nJanuary 25\, 26\, 27th\, & 28th\, 2021\nYOU MUST ATTEND ALL FOUR SESSIONS – PLEASE CALL THE BOCES OFFICE TO CONFIRM THE CLASS IS STILL RUNNING \nThere will be a half-hour lunch break during each session. PLEASE CALL THE BOCES OFFICE TO CONFIRM THE CLASS IS STILL RUNNING \nBOCES Fee:\n$150.00 \nAll sessions will be held at the Fremont County BOCES round room located at 320 West Main (Old Riverton High School / 6th Grade Bldg) in Riverton\, WY. In order to log the required 24-hours for certification\, attendance to all four classes is mandatory. Attendance will be taken at the beginning of each session. \nEach participant will be required to provide a $150 payment at the time of registration. Names will not be added to the official roster until payment is received. The attendance fee is non-refundable. Make checks/money orders payable to: Fremont County BOCES. Credit cards will not be accepted. \nThis class will be limited to 10 participants and will be given on a first-come\, first-serve basis. No registrations or payments will be accepted the first day of class. \nUpon successful completion of this course\, students will be required to apply to the State of Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board (PTSB) for their certification. PTSB will require applicants pay a $100 application fee. \nFor information on how you can become certified to substitute teach contact: Fremont County BOCES\, 320 West Main\, 3rd Floor\, Riverton\, WY 82501\, or call (307) 856-2028 \nTo substitute teach in Wyoming\, you must apply for a Substitute Teacher Permit. This permit is valid for five years and is eligible for renewal.
